4.5"Although, the inventory of cars in the price range I was looking for was not vast, I truly appreciated Kim's effort to meet my needs. There was a discrepancy on the monthly figure she quoted me over the phone and what was given to me at her desk, however she was very accommodating and reasonable in the way she handled the negotiation to help me reach my initial ideal monthly payment. I actually first called Universal Mini, but the sales rep I spoke with over the phone came across rather aloof and was not invested in my inquiry. I also explained how much I was looking to pay and told her I wanted to trade my car in that I had negative equity on. I was hoping she would do some math and help me decide if it was worth making the effort to drive over. But she made no such effort. Only to insist that I come to the dealership and she was sure she can "make something happen." I have had prior experiences of not doing the math first only to be turned away at the dealership so this was very important to me. Needless to say, Kim crunched numbers for me RIGHT AWAY over the phone and even got my credit approval in 10-15 min. I had made an appointment to travel to Universal Mini anyway, but I who am big on customer service had no problems ditching Universal Mini and driving a bit farther to you guys after speaking with Kim. =) I found Kim to be extremely empathetic, warm, non-pretentious and easy to talk to. She had a smile on her face the whole time and was very patient with me. She was multitasking, helping another prospective buyer but nonetheless gave me her full attention when she was sitting in front of me. Overall I am truly pleased with my Alexander Mini experience! Ashley seemed in tuned to the Internet chatter and seemed just as informed with I was on the current issues other MINI owners were talking about. I feel this is very important since many Future MINI owners do a lot of Internet research and also have two months getting excited about their car once it is ordered. Complaints and praises fly quickly on those forums. Smart MAs and corporates pay some attention to the forums and use it to make the buying and owning experience better. 1.5"I have been to the same mini dealer twice in two months. The first time was for regular service which I paid for because my car is not under warranty. It was not a problem and I get it done. The second time I went which was this week. My engine light was on and a routine check was done. I was told that I needed rear brake. I don?t get them done because I know a mini auto shop that does them cheaper. So I got my car fix and everything was ok, until the next day when I took my car to get the brake done. Before they did the brake they also do a routine checkup. After they checkup the mechanic tell me that I have an oil leak at the crank pulley seal and a small oil leak at the oil pan gasket. I was stock with this information. So I am very upset that I been to Nick two times and this was never mention to me. When you guys supposedly did a routine check and you work on my engine. I am very upset with this dealership because this is not the first time this has happen to me and every one of my friend that have mini also have problem with getting good quality service unless we are not under warranty. It like when we have to pay we get good service but if we don?t you treat was like dogs. With that begin said I will NEVER bring my car back to any mini cooper dealership unless it has something to do with my engine. All minis? dealership service doesn?t respect my car, and really don?t care unless I am paying money out. I am also upset that every time I go there I have a different service adviser even when I ask for Ivan. I upset that I just can?t get good customer service and it was not always like that. It is amazing how thing have change. I miss getting water offer to me and detail of what is wrong with my car and if I don?t understand I was not giving mess up look or attitude." 3.0"Everyone that I delt with was very helpful and knowledgeable. There are a couple reasons I didn't give a higher rating. First off, I brought my car in for my yearly service and also had been experiencing problems with the stereo and speakers. They ended up replacing the stereo, but said they couldn't find anything rattling in the speakers. I left the dealership and within the first 5 minutes could hear the rattling. I'm not sure how they couldn't hear it. They told me I could bring it back in, but I don't have a lot of time to bring the car back for something that should have been fixed the first time. My second reason for the average rating was that I was told I'd be put in a loaner mini...in fact, I was told someone would drop off a loaner to me and take my car into the dealership. that wasn't an option that was brought up to me, so I drove my car in myself. It's about 40 min each way for me. There was no loaner mini for me and I was put into a cheap enterprise rental. I ended up having to be at the dealership for over an hour...so, that was over 2 hours of my day just to take my car in for service...plus having to go back to the dealership the next day.
