It was thirty years ago that a spirited entrepreneur, Nick Alexander seized the opportunity to pilot a fledgling BMW store.
After many years of award-winning customer service, Nick Alexander Imports was honored to be offered the opportunity to adopt BMW’s newest family member, MINI! We happily accepted and sold our first MINI Cooper on March 22nd, 2002. Six years later, Nick Alexander MINI became the #1 MINI dealership worldwide, setting the record for MINIs sold in one year.
While Nick Alexander MINI soared to become the number 1 dealership in sales, we also found success in continuing to provide attentive and individualized service to each of our customers. Since 1979 we have been honored many times with the coveted "Center of Excellence" BMW's highest level of achievement, and the BMW "Presidents Club" award.
Above all else, Nick Alexander valued his family and community. In 2004, Nick retired and passed his legacy to his daughter Elizabeth. Nick Alexander’s dealership continues to be family owned and operated; his son Nicholas is our Parts and Service director and his nephew, Shep Nelson, is the General Sales Manager of our MINI and BMW stores. Nick Alexander has continued his tradition of supporting the local community. We are proud to support such charities as St. Francis Hospital, Midland Schools and the YMCA of Southeast Rio Vista.
